Today is Monday.. BLAH! My whole weekend was hectic and busy, I wish I could have had more time to relax but I was gone way too much. I went to work today and met the new boss, which was not so bad but it was a tad weird when I met her because there was not much to day. We have to fill out all new paperwork but there are only a few sheets so it wont be too bad. I know at first it is going to be a lot to take in but I am confident I can handle it. Update on Dixie.. She is still cuter than ever and she know all her tricks really well. I know it helps that I keep her practicing all the time. I just love seeing her do them and get them right. Now I have to work on my project for my class. I have a lot more typing and a lot more information finding to do. I will have it all done by Wednesday no doubt.

lazy sunday?

This weekend has been go go go. Yesterday I took Dixie to pet training and she has sit, down, and spin around commands down pat! Next on the list for her to learn is shake and crawl. I love teaching her to learn such cute tricks! Today was supposed to be a relaxing day at home finishing up a huge project I have due Wednesday. This is probably the biggest project Ive ever had to do for a college class and I am hoping everything gets done by at least tomorrow. I have to work tomorrow morning to meet my new boss.. Our old boss sold the business and then choose to tell us two hours before it was finalized. My weekend was hectic and this coming up week is going to be also. 

my puppy

Today is Dixie's second puppy training class. Dixie is a little black Shih Tzu puppy that I got for free from a friend. I love having her and have loved taking care of her for the past five months. Last week she went to PetSmart for her first class. She just turned a year old at the beginning of last month and I had it in my head that she was not going to be able to learn new tricks or commands. I was shocked at how good she did while there. She learned to come when called and to spin around. Prior to the class I taught her to sit and lay down, which she picked up quite fast. Now when I get her to do tricks she will start doing all of them at once just to get a treat. She is the cutest puppy in the whole world! Trying to teach her tricks has taught me to have some patience when it comes to training her because, of course, she doesnt just get it on the first try. To me this relates to being in school because when I am learning new things I dont just get it on the first try and have to keep working at school to stay knowledgeable.
